Street Fighter 6 Celebrates Third Anniversary With New GRAPHT Merchandise

MSY's GRAPHT brand has announced a new range of collaboration items for Capcom's Street Fighter 6, coinciding with the game's third anniversary. These products, which include T-shirts, tumblers, and trading acrylic keyholders, feature newly commissioned artwork by illustrator Kanagyaku, depicting all 30 playable characters. This kind of extensive character art serves as a quiet, ongoing documentation of a game's evolving roster and its cultural footprint, a detail often overlooked in the broader commercial push.

Online pre-orders for these items began on 20th May via the GRAPHT Official Store. A dedicated pop-up store, "STREET FIGHTER 6 3rd Anniversary POP UP STORE in 東京ソラマチ" (Tokyo Solamachi), will also open from 27th May to 16th June in Tokyo's Sumida Ward, offering direct sales.

The Enduring Appeal of Character Rosters

The central element of this collection is Kanagyaku's artwork, which brings together the entire playable cast. This visual consolidation is a clear nod to the community, reflecting the three years of development and player investment in these characters. It is a considered approach to celebrating a modern fighting game's longevity, acknowledging the attachment players form to their chosen fighters.

Beyond the main art pieces, the collection expands with six new embroidered stickers. These designs were apparently inspired by feedback from internal players regarding memorable character moments and outfits. The detail, particularly in the embroidery, speaks to a certain level of craft, with production handled by skilled factories in the Kiryu region, known for its textile heritage.

Community Engagement and Physical Artefacts

Further items include a T-shirt and mascot keyholder based on "Gouki-nyan," a character from the "Ganbare Juri-chan" series, which is regularly featured on the Street Fighter 6 public relations X account. The T-shirt's design, entirely embroidered, even uses sagara embroidery for Gouki-nyan's hair, again highlighting a commitment to material quality.

The Tokyo Solamachi pop-up store will also feature a photo spot with Kanagyaku's artwork. Customers spending 5,500 yen or more on Street Fighter 6 related products will receive one entry into a lottery. Prizes include GRAPHT online store vouchers, original ramune, and character cards.

These character cards are distributed randomly in three distinct phases throughout the event, with different sets of characters available each week. GRAPHT members receive an additional lottery entry, a small but effective incentive for loyalty. This phased release and lottery system is a common, if sometimes frustrating, method for encouraging repeat visits and fostering a sense of collection within the community.

Such initiatives, combining new artistic interpretations with physical merchandise and interactive store experiences, demonstrate how publishers maintain a title's cultural relevance. For a game like Street Fighter 6, which relies heavily on an active player base, these anniversary celebrations are not merely commercial ventures; they are critical touchpoints for community cohesion and ongoing engagement, ensuring the game remains a talking point long after its initial launch.
