QUByte Brings PlayStation 1 Classics to Modern Consoles
QUByte Interactive is adding original PlayStation support to its emulation engine, bringing cult 32-bit titles to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch. The first wave includes Invasion from Beyond, Motor Mash and One, with “many cult favourites” to follow as part of a wider preservation push.

This significant development means PlayStation 1 titles will soon grace modern platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series systems through the QUByte Emulation Engine.

The Brazilian publisher confirmed three initial titles leading this retro revival: 1998's Invasion from Beyond (known as B-Movie in European territories), 1997's vehicular combat title Motor Mash, and the same year's shooter One. Consequently, these obscure gems will receive new life beyond their original 32-bit confines. Furthermore, QUByte promises "many cult favourites" will follow in subsequent releases, though specific timelines remain unconfirmed.
